THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I suppose the grass is always greener but I think I'd prefer the gravel. Everything sinks into the dirt and you get absolutely filthy.

Try reaching up to get leverage on a bolt and having 5 different rocks digging into 5 different places on your body.

I'll take the dirt.

Not to mention you can't use a creeper on rocks.

Can't use the creeper on dirt either. It gets stuck just the same.

I will say that I would take flat dirt over a gravel hill.

For how well Colin and I get along in person our e-personas clash quite a bit.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Creeper FTW no matter whether there's puddles or not. I hate laying on the bare concrete/pavement.

But hey, it's better than the dirt at my last house.
Nah, the only time I used a creeper on my entire build is when the t-case was going in or out.

I hardly use the creeper. I'd rather lay on the concrete.

Yeah I guess it depends on the dirt and whatnot.

But my gravel driveway sucks and I would gladly take any kind of dirt over it specifically for working on stuff.

For everything else (no dust kicking up, no maintenance, etc.) the gravel is nice.

My e-dick is 45 inches long.

You got to work in a garage with a concrete floor, plenty of lighting, and "heat" if you left the house door open.

Your opinion is invalid.

:D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i built my green xj on a sheet of ice. just wear a carhartt and slide where you need to go. the jackstands were there before the ice came so it was sturdy and legit.

that was the winter where it didnt snow til like february. 06/07 i think

Yeah, packed dirt wouldn't be so bad. This stuff was real loose.

That sucks, because your e-dick still ain't getting any.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

answers my question, thanksssssssssss looks like im swaping yokes.... sonuvabitch

I may have a yoke for you if you want it. Will have to search around for it before I can commit but IIRC I pulled it for someone else last year before scrapping the axle but never ended up giving it away.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I need an O2 sensor.

Also debating if I even want to weld on flanges for my exhaust, or just have the whole thing welded together.
One flange just so you don't have to drop the crossmember to take down the exhaust for any reason.
Unless you can snake the whole thing out after unbolting it from the downpipe.

That's what I was thinking, but I'm not sure how much room I have for a flange to sneak above the crossmember.
