CL house shopping in Utah says this is a "HUGE backyard"

Um, I have more parking space than that and I consider my house to have a somewhat of a small yard...

Speaking of guns i shot the new one this afternoon. Doesnt kick as hard as i thought it would, but it definitely kicks. More like a very solid thump.
I bet it's fun though. What model is it exactly?

Last night I was doing more sound system tinkering. Turns out when one speaker is 180* out of phase, focus point, image, and sound stage go to crap. I also came to the conclusion that I had too much underlap between my 4" and my 8" speakers and fixed that too. It's the difference between faintly hearing that there is a tuba playing and saying 'wow, that tuba sounds sweet.'

I don't think this word means what you think it does. I know what you were going for, but I think it's better said as "didn't have any/didn't have enough overlap".
At least I've never heard it used that way. In motor windings, for example, it still means that two things are intertwined, but one layer passes below another instead of on top of it.

Hmm, I don't know if it's a real word or not :dunno: I've seen it used on diymobileaudio.com quite a bit, specifically when discussing this subject. Then again, that's just another forum and we all know how poorly many forum goers write...

I think underlap is a better word than not enough overlap/no overlap because I actually do have a gap in the nominal cross over points. I say nominal because after that point it drops off at 12 dB/octave for this piece of hardware. There is still signal getting through outside the cross over point, but those numbers are never used in discussions about tuning.

not sure exactly heh. It's an H&R Shikari in 45-70, but I've found things online describing a "Model 155" and a "Buffalo Rifle", neither of which I've seen anywhere on this gun :dunno:

Haha, sweet. Knowing that, I bet you got it for a song.

Anthony should change his user title to "Internet = Truth"
Colin should change his user title to "I'm dumb because I won't jump my MJ"

Now the internet has truth on it .!. :D .!.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Colin should change his to "Nagging Bitch Member #1"

Travis, stop by after work if you're not doing anything. I'll be in the garage all day.

Colin, blow me.

maybe. I looked underneath tent city this morning and it was actually pretty dry, just a couple small puddles. I might try to work on my Jeep for a little bit possibly

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I get a few puddles in my carport thing too.

Creeper FTW.
Creeper FTW no matter whether there's puddles or not. I hate laying on the bare concrete/pavement.

But hey, it's better than the dirt at my last house.

I get puddles in my garage... I think the seal on the bottom of the door is XXXXeddd oh and it doesnt help that its at the bottom of a hill

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

When you gonna scrap your 1/3 of an XJ and get a full-bodied one?

Or is that still the plan?
:dunno: There is no plan right now. I know I'll have a 4.0, ax-15, 231/300, the D60 and D70 but other than that I haven't made up my mind.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'd take dirt over working on the gravel/rocks on my driveway.
I suppose the grass is always greener but I think I'd prefer the gravel. Everything sinks into the dirt and you get absolutely filthy.
