worked 3.5 hrs today and was like XXXX this, manager let me go home early, ill make up the hrs later in the week, it was just stupid slow all weekend, did do more paint shopping though, so im gonna be higher then a snoop dogg concert later

Ya, I agree with that. But I've found that a girl could be single for ever, but once I start talking to her, she magically finds someone else and gets involved with them instead.

Wow, driving conservatively really pays off, I just knocked out some of the best mileage so far on red jeep. Doing 60-65 all the way home I got 25.5 MPG. I purposely stopped at the gas station next to my house when I got home cause I thought my gas gauge was mis-reading and to double check. I think I coulda gotten an even 26 if I didnt have to stop at two toll booths and didnt have to do some downshifts to pass people along the way.

my 4 cylinder comanche got amazing milage.

the 4 cylinder tj sucks nut.

and every now and again, and i have yet to explain it, but i can knock out low 20's in my xj. i usually get 15 or so

I slapped a thick coat of paint on my bumper and then realized I forgot to weld shackle tabs to it. I hope I still have that 3/4" plate in my back yard. The bumper is pretty ugly but I don't really care, should be strong enough and mounts better than my old one.

i have found that the slightest details can make fugly bumpers look good on an xj.

Not yet. The paint still isn't dry enough to touch. I'll toss it on there real quick tomorrow before I make the tabs. Right now it's just a piece of 3x5 angle the width of the front cross member with a peice of 3" flat stock welded at an angle on the bottom. Hopefully I can meet up with Bill and bend some tube up to make it prettier. Actually, looks a lot like yours on your XC trip, just sans the hoop and shackles.
