THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

It amazes me how tightly they pack stuff into some engine bays. You have to pull the intake manifold on my Dad's DD to get to the back bank to change the plugs. PITA.

yea its ridiculous i gotta get a frame for my gfs yj so i can dump this damn jap piece of junk I wanted to find a xj for her but she was dead set on this 4runner

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I don't even know what I would do with it.

Probably sit in my driveway just like his and work on it next year or something.
Sell it to me.
All these other retards will just use it as a tow rig, I will use the drivetrain to build a cummins powered Power wagon tow rig.

unless it is a 5.9 gasser in which case sell it to me and I will use the drivetrain to build a magnum powered comanche... tow rig?

(probably not, I'd have to be nuts to use a SWB MJ with a d30 and an 8.25 as a tow rig)

Awesome. Stalking a stalker...a whole new level.

Yeah I tend to do that when I see people I don't recognize.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Nope not yet. Ross and I apologized to each other after that blow out . I've been immensely stressed out between work, capstone, my other class homework/presentation/final, and getting my MJ done in time for NACfest. He had a rough day at work too.

:kissyou: We both had rough days that day and started bitchin at each other. It was supposed to ship out Friday or today flat rate. If I dont see if by tomorrow afternoon, I have the name of who I gotta call and throw a hissy fit too.

Who has a HP D30 they don't want? Good brackets a must, good outers preferrable. Gears don't matter. The cheaper the better.

I just give Carmelo red jeep's mint old one and threw away Adam's old ones today (but those ones didnt have trackbar mounts).

Tell me why I shouldn't use my torch to do it. If there are no bad responses, I'm doing it.

Old carrier + thick cut 5.38s up front.

Right there. If youre planning on re-using the carrier, why take the chance of trashing it with a torch? If you wanna try it with torch and junk the carrier though, I'll always have the one outta my 60 available when I get around to regearing.

What Is Scott’s Selection?

Admittedly, waiting for our rare casks of Scotch whiskies to reach their peak maturation points isn’t the most action-packed business, but the fruits of our labors are well worth our patience. Some years ago Robert Scott—former Master Distiller and renowned Scotch whisky connoisseur, whose “nose” for fine whisky is now legendary—began a quest. Joining forces with the Speyside Distillery, Scott expertly “nosed” his way through Scotland’s foremost distilleries, seeking out and purchasing rights to individual barrels with unusual promise. He possessed the rare ability to recognize potential greatness in a single malt Scotch with only a whiff of his nose. After hand-selecting the highest quality individual barrels, Scott waited. And waited some more. Finally, when the casks reached their optimum ages—always distinct from the time when the spirits were bottled by other distilleries for mass consumption—Scott bottled them. Thus, Scott’s Selection was born.

In addition to being aged to its optimum level, each finite stock of exceptional single malt (and one top-quality grain) is bottled with the greatest of care to ensure the malts keep as close as possible to their natural state in the cask. Every barrel of Scott’s Selection is bottled at cask strength, undiluted by water. Each bottle is non-chillfiltered; that is, the whiskies are not chilled during the filtering process prior to bottling. The chillfiltering process separates the whisky from its natural fats and oils and renders a clearer Scotch, and it is usually administered to more standardized Scotch whiskies. However, purists insist this process also compromises flavor, and that only by strict adherence to traditional whisky-making methods can the individual characteristics of each malt be appreciated.

Haha sorry guys, I pull this thread up when I get to work and scan through it as time becomes available. Just joined NAXJA the other day and this is an entertaining thread to read over haha.

Somewhat new to xj's. Just finishing up a ignition issue with my 93 country that i just put a 4.5 RC kit in. So if i ever ask a dumb question try to bear with me. Haha

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Yes, if you have time and $30 (or potentially $130) to blow. The stuff they're sampling sounds top notch. I'm sure you'll sample more than $30 worth. I don't know that I'd break other plans to go, but it sounds like something I'd do if it lined up with moderate convenience.

Bitch, complain about being short and about your rust issues. Both my Jeeps drive, so eff off.

And I'm officially done with my capstone independent study. Got out of it today after talking with the professor, so I don't have to do that anymore.
