Moving from Quincy to Canton. ~5 mins from the store, bigger place, cheaper to live, bigger yard...can't wait! My grandfather built the house so it'll be nice to live there. Definitely big enough to have people over (not Carmelo cuz he rearranges photos) so I'll have you guys over.

More pet peeves of office life:

I emailed one of our new customers the basic forms they need to fill out to order from us. Subject: Customer Information Forms. They reply with some technical question that I answer and copy one of our production guys on the reply so they know about the change.

Then more people start getting copied, and now I'm averaging about one email every 10 minutes from someone else hitting 'reply to all' about other aspects of the project that I have nothing to do with, all with the subject heading still "customer information forms".

Gonna make it real fun to find anything in 6 months when I have to go back and reference something on the project...

Yeah, almost all canned air and freeze spray is the same shit, only difference is whether they put a straw on the inside of the valve so it picks up liquid, or don't so it sprays gas and then tell you to hold the can upright. Its all 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane, same thing as r134a... recent legislation may have changed things a bit.

As for reply all, it is the devil. The devil I say.

Yeah, a huge one. Maybe as much as $1000 and easily 2 weeks additional lead time.

Yeah, but I have the metric ones on the shelf, 3-15/16" isn't a stock size, metric vs. standard keyways have different profiles and I'd have to get a new internal keyway broached through a 1.5' long shaft and that's not something just any shop can do.

Reply to all doesn't bother me as much as when someone sends a mass email or a newsletter and uses the "To:" field rather than the "BCC:". That has got to be the easiest way for spam bombers to grab emails.
