&^%*!!!
Now I'm stuck here till tomorrow afternoon! :flamemad::flamemad::flamemad:
I was waiting around for my brother to finish his final. However, due to the pansies at this school that can't even think about driving if there is a snowflake, the school is closed. Heck, we're only supposed to get 3-5" down here, nothing like the 8-14" back home!
What the heck am I gonna do all day?

yea people are def. pansies when it comes to oddball weather. in texas if it seemed like there was gonna be ice on the road, the school district would close down or have late arrival to see if it would be safe to frive on semi-slick roads. but, then again, no one can drive worth a sh*t in texas. so it was prolly safer that way!

I'm convinced the problem is all this "smart" stuff in cars these days. Electronic traction control, abs, electron stabilizers, whatever they work great when on wet/dry roads. Yet, if you loose control due to anything, people have NO IDEA how to drive.

I wish I could go back to the good ol' days. Somethings might be for the better these days, but most of them sure seem to have been better back then!

I ran out last night writing that darn report. I hadn't stocked up cause I didn't plan on being here. I guess I could go get more, but I'm by myself so no fun in that.

i agree on the traction control stuff. and that's too bad that you're out of beer. i've written more than one intoxicated report, myself. i know what that's like.

Def. i have no problem driving my jeep in 2wd on ice/snow with no abs. you just got to know how to control your own vehicle and watch for the other dumdarses on da road. i usually will ut her in 4wd just cuz i have it. but i have many a time gone on the roads in 2wd just cuz i wanted to.

2wd is fun... people just need to learn how to drive and if you can't drive in the crap weather without your fancy systems, you shouldn't be out period.

during the little storm on the sunday after thanksgiving i drove from wolfeboro to amherst and saw 5 cars off the road and there was about 3/4 inch of snow on the ground. pathetic.
