i havent traveled much...been to belize, guatemala, lake tahoe, england, scotland, but i havent had nearly as much fun on any of those trips. im sure the desert isnt much fun in the summer tho.

I'd imagine that quibids thing must have a slower time of day that your odds of winning are slightly improved but the problem is finding out when that is.

me neither. it's pointless to bid on it when it's so low in price or at such a popular internet browsing time. especially at $0.60/bid.

Exactly. I'm watching some of those TV's and cameras get up to like 10 bucks and it's still plenty of time left. This company is definitely making a huge profit on this.

Damnit, I am breaking stuff left and right, I just dropped my iPod, and now it won't turn on correctly. It was a damn hard hit too, I wasn't surprised when I picked it up and only half the screen would turn on solid black.

Looks like that is the end of my apple days. Zune may be in the future.

Yup sounds about right but you pay the end auction price, which hopefully is very cheap and you pay for shipping.

Ya, its not the screen that broke this time, it must be the HD or something internal. I hit the button to turn it on, and it does the normal "entire screen turns black with the white apple in the middle," then it just goes to the lower 1/3 of the screen is solid black.

im sure jv is a cool place. but to me its just another desert with a shit ton of rocks.

i have been within like 15 miles of it on my trip and we had no ambition to go.

i may be wrong, but all the trails look the same. ya got some fast whoops sections and ya got trails with rocks that want to eat yo jeep.

id rather go to moab. or most anywhere in the rockies

So there I was in my garage, working on my Jeep, welding away. Then I ran out of wire when I was almost done these stiffener plates.

yeah i don't need the tires. I'd resell them cheap, but I probably shouldn't waste my time on the set. my best friend lives in that town. if you really want them let me know and i can have him pick em up if you pay the guy.

I thought about it, but I'm done for the day.

I might go tomorrow, but their 11-12lb spool is $35 or something on the fairly expensive side. And then I'd be lucky for them to even have one.

I almost swapped in my spool of 0.23 but it's really too thin for this stuff. I'll use that when it comes time to do the body sheet metal.

I keep a spool or two extra on hand for that reason... not sure I have any spare right now because of my toolbox getting stolen last summer, but that way I have a spool to use till I remember to buy a new spare spool. It'll all get used eventually so it really isn't a waste of money either.

I make sure to always keep extra spools of wire around. Until I get almost all the welding done on my stiffeners and run outta gas instead :gee:
