THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Carmelo, if you plan on being over there working sometime, if I don't have anything going on I could always try and swing by and help you work on stuff if you wanted.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

went over a friends house and watched "Buried" tonight w/ ryan reynolds... it was awful. the whole entire movie took place inside a coffin, and the ending was terrible

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Anyone going to be near West Warren in the next day, who might want to check this out for me?

I really like that color, all the body panels seem straight, and I dont' think the damage to the front would be that bad, or hard to repair. The bumper would be gone anyways, that area would be plated anyways, I have spare grills, and the center section of the header would be cut for the winch. Hell, the blairwitch has damage around the crossmember and corner like that.

I just want to make sure its not rusty.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

if this does not get done anthony and ross can get the night off

I dont take nights off. Ive worked on the 14b for the last couple nights in a row

BTW, Ross- want me to come over and help you dig out that dana 30?

Txt me later and remind me, I should be around tonight it you wanna.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Nope. I don;'t feel like going to Ken's home town. :D
not my hometown, I just sleep here. I am running like hell as soon as the snow melts.

Thanks for the concern guys. She's doing fine now but has already made her mind up that she'll not be returning for next school year. This place has a notoriously high turn over rate.
I don't blame her, there is no way I'd want anything to do with that.

I feel a ratchet should take a reasonable amount of force applied to it without breaking. If a ratchet has a 6 inch handle, and can take say 50 ft lbs applied to it, I think a 12 inch ratchet should be able to take 100 ft lbs. Craftsman does not think this way. Of course the difference in opinion comes with using it every day for work vs using it at home to build/fix your own projects.
yeah... I used the 3/8" one every day for two years while I was working at the quicklube, but the others only handle my abuse when working on the jeep or at the junkyard.

I'm not sure if they let people look at it, I'm fairly certain some auctions are sight unseen, though others aren't. Wish I could help you out but by the time I get out of work tonight it'll probably be dark.

You sound horny but tonight doesn't seem like the best night after it snows again? Maybe I'll txt you later and we can touch butts.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

:dunno: whatever, there's not much snow on it. Its pretty easy to unbury, I also have the pathway clear. Black jeep is even kinda shoveled out and unburied!!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Yes I'm seriously not in the garage right now.

Explaining myself all of the time is getting old.
Honestly dude, I just don't care anymore. I wanted to see you get this going but you fight everything every step of the way. If you want to take 3 or 4 years, cool.

Any tech questions I'll be happy to try and help, but I ain't gonna bug you about working on it anymore.

[last kick while down]Oh, and stop bothering Ross in his build thread, he is actually a mile ahead of you on what he's doing with that shave. :) He doesn't need nit-picks.[/last kick while down]
You have more excuses than Mark had.

Is everyone going to monster jam? I'm debating not going and just working on my junk.
I'll be at both.

I wont be going anymore. Since my lady put up with going to a NAXJA M&G and an auto swap meet, I now have to bail on monster trucks and go on a sleigh ride.
This is when you need to take control of the handbag holding your little marbles back.
i have hockey tickets that night for the outdoor game in hartford, i'm thinking i can make it to eat.
Nice! At least come to eat.
WTF does she do for work?!?!
X2, that's not a job I'd want. Get out now while she can still change professions.
Either that or take some lessons from Mia.

Apparently getting on your case works and you start doing stuff. :D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I could see Carmelo doing well with kids. None of us are that big of an asshole that we'd treat a kid poorly.

The place next to Jeff's store sounds creepy. Jenn's work isn't quite that bad.

My mother worked at a halfway house when I was young. She had one patient who wore a football helmet to protect her head when she hit it. The same patient also liked it when my mother played Mario Bros because she liked the music and it would calm her down. So yes, my mother was paid to play Nintendo. I was jealous, at that age.

I went to Airgas before work and got my 3 bottles swapped. I was planning on going after work but I didn't get up early enough to do that, so I just went on my way to work and thankfully still made it in on time.

Thanks for offering tech advice. You've been a wealth of knowledge so far.

I didn't think I was bothering him, I thought that was a reasonable question and didn't see his reason for doing what he did posted anywhere else. If everyone knew what everyone else was doing all the time and why there'd be no need for the forum.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

slow day at work.

getting paid to surf the naxja and fix my jeep

be jealous

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'm strongly considering strapped a stock XJ tank in the back of the MJ just for NACfest to save time.
I'm not even joking, do it. That will take 20 minutes and give you time to order all of the nice stuff like Bill has in the meantime. Worry about the fancy details after you know it works.
