Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

what would you prefer? sliding traction bar?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

All I see is a $74 kit that come with two bushings and a bracket

i would spend way too much time making 3/8" brackets and they probably wont fit right until i trim them down 47 times

and these come with brackets that tie the bushing sleeves to eachother.

bushings and sleeves themselves would run about $30

and i get SWEET golden bolts and nylock nuts

Time is not an issue for me, it is, but I can't afford to spend money to save time. You can get non greasable bushing/sleeve sets for less than $15. Not too mention the frame end is still needs to be done. So it's only half a kit. If it were an all inclusive package i'd have no choice to buy it. If it came with two heims and a shackle I'm sure it would end up being how much it would cost me to piece everything together.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I've seen red bolts before. Napa sells em.

you obviously didn't get the memo. you don't spend money on jeeps in order to save time, you spend money so you don't run the risk of letting too much accumulate in your bank. it's got nothing to do with saving time/wheeling sooner. just look at anthony for example. :D

You meant Ross right? He just has an axle on a bench, Jeep on stands, and a stack of stickers.:shhh:

I just did a rough guess what i'd use and I think after a discount it'd be ~$100. That's not bad I think. I'll have to wait, seeing as it's going to take 2 more weeks until I can pay off my $200 insurance bill. By then i'm hoping I can start working on my truck.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

no, i meant anthony. cause he gets upset way easier and its more fun to watch him get mad at the world. plus he's viewing the thread and ross isn't
