There's a couple dudes with 38-40's on d44 RCV's with good luck. Ball joints on the other hand....

I don't know how their ball joints are fairing with those, so I didn't comment on it. I would be worried about it though.

Yesterday I was helping to do the brakes and lines on Scotty's friend Steve's Dakota.... damn thing has single flare metric fittings everywhere.

I have alloy usa inners (before they changed companies) and moser outers.

No problems with them, but I know Sam will have a good list on shafts for 44's.

i broke both my moser outers in one day

Supposedly there's a guy on PBB who has a built 44 front with RCV's and he's on 40's. Been having good reliability, last I heard.

i have never broken a spicer u joint. just alloy outer shafts. so i see no need for the u joint eliminator shafts if i dont break the u joints.



i'd go with nitro. lifetime no questions asked warranty. and they have the best track record on my jeep. about 2 years without breakage.

mosers lasted about a year.
yukons lasted about 2 hours
stock lasted about 2 weeks



that, and the nitros are like $190 a pair

nitros are 580 for a pair of inners, outers and spicers from ecgs.. 10 factorys are 6 hundo from extreme axle sales.

i gotta get an ox too... that 840. any place i should buy from thats cheaper?

Our plane is having trouble getting the engines started. I guess they're only allowed to try starting it twice before they gotta check it. First the left one took a couple of tries, now the right one is bitching. Good thing we have (had) like a 2.5 hr layover in chicago, were already almost an hour behind.

Exactly, spend 15min doing this :callme: and it will save you a lot of money in the long run. I didn't order a single part for my build without a phone call first, and I can tell you it almost always saved me money.

What do you guys say? Toss out a few name drops or something? It's always confused me how you get stuff cheaper when you call.

I hate calling people sometimes/most of the time. Whenever I buy parts, custom or regular stuff, I suck it up and call. Most of the time I end up shooting the shit with them about my jeep/wheeling and I ALWAYS get a better price/free shipping/extra stuff/combo of all the above.

I still don't like calling people, but I like saving money more so.
