THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Anyone need ford D44 outer shafts? I ordered them when I bought a set of ford knuckles and spindles, today the guy returned my money for the knuckles and spindles because he decided to sell them local.
I can go with chevy parts cheaper, as long as I can sell these ford shafts

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I was just thinking, I know there is a bunch of stuff on stalling out during driving pointing to a CPS sensor (happened on my red jeep). But I was just remembering my dad's TJ would do that recently, just die, and it turned out to be the PCM (Equiv to ECU). I never see that really suggested over here when dealing with stalling issues. I know its rare that the ECU goes bad, just saying.

Yeah, I've seen maybe 3 or 4 jeeps get fixed with a new ecu in my time in the tech forums, all early 90s or renix ones. I've seen dozens get fixed with new coils, temp sensors, cps, tps, etc. I know billy has had an ecu or two die due to upstream o2 sensor wiring melting and shorting on the exhaust however.

Aluminum/magnesium for weight reduction

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I have alloy usa inners (before they changed companies) and moser outers.

No problems with them, but I know Sam will have a good list on shafts for 44's.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Supposedly there's a guy on PBB who has a built 44 front with RCV's and he's on 40's. Been having good reliability, last I heard.

There's also plenty of people running 38s on a D30 and been having "good reliability". It's all relative.

There's a couple dudes with 38-40's on d44 RCV's with good luck. Ball joints on the other hand....
