Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread
Looks like I'm really gonna have to suck it up to work on the MJ tonight...
Freakin cold as hell.
pansy :spin1: I did my transfer case without even a tent!
But yeah, I couldn't feel my fingers and for once I was thinking to myself "why the hell did I even start this project?" halfway through. Once the wind died down it wasn't half bad.
I agree, I can't even function when it's 80*+ and humid.
I think I'm going to trim the rear wheel well openings, and work on taking measurements/first cuts on bobbing the bed. Rear MJ openings are massive, and I actually don't have to trim much to stuff the 40s in there.
Yeah, basically my rules are:
* if I can't feel my fingers, I am pissed off.
* if my ass crack is sweating I am REALLY pissed off.
I'm surprised you don't have to trim much, I figured with 40s and not much height you would have almost no bedsides left :roflmao:
SWEEET my PSC stuff is going to be here on Wednesday.
awesome. My new-to-me aussie is showing up tuesday probably
wow this just made my morning. i was throwing some salt down in front of my work, then i see a guy across the street strip down to nothing, i mean no shoes, no clothes, no nothing. Then he started walking up the street on the soild double yellow bare ass. the cops finally caught up to him and brough him back to get his clothes and he was yelling something about god, then he started singing god bless america god bless america god bless america. quite entertaining.
:roflmao:
'99 XJ has an Interstate the PO put in.
'97 XJ has the Sears Platinum
My truck has the original factory batteries.
The 98 has a brand new battery (forget where I bought it, think Autozone so probably a duralast)
The 96 has a year old battery (think it's a duralast) which I keep running down completely dead, twice this week now. I need to figure out where the hell the parasitic draw is, I suspect it's my interior lights because the switch for the driver door is fubar.
The MJ has the battery I got with it, it's completely covered in horrible residue of some sort and I have no idea what it is but it works fine and starts every time. It was real pissed off about starting when I left it sitting for 2 months but got the job done.
And yes, I absolutely hate it when people leave ice on their roofs in big slabs. At least break it up so it doesn't fly so well, and doesn't do so much damage... snow I care less about, my usual trick is to break up the snowpack with my windshield scraper and then do a few loops at the back end of the parking lot, problem solved.
I will cut you if you leave ice on your roof. I will merely glare at you and wish bad luck upon you if you leave snow.
