Ken- no matter what you get for shingles, don't expect more then 25 years. And cold shingles LOVE to split when trying to nail then

Colin, I remembered I got my spindle nut sets from Doug @ Extreme Axle. The price seemed reasonable enough and you'd save on shipping if nothing else.

Just ordered them from Bronco's Graveyard.

So in all seriousness, and I know we went over this before, I really need to start figuring out what I want to run for lockers in the front and rear. I'm going to be gearing them in probably a month (and hopefully have the axles close to done at that point). I'd love to be able to swing ARBs front and rear and blah blah, but that's a lot of cake.

I think I can swing a selectable in ONE axle, and a spool/lunchbox or whatever in the other. Opinions?

I got the one that covers the nut completely, not the one that just has the little tits that stick off the socket.

I've always thought the opposite though? ARB rear and spool/lockrite front?

When I had just a lockrite up front I could turn no problem as sharp as I wanted.

He wasn't cool and didn't get the set like we did. He spent $20 on one socket rather than $40-45 for the set of six.

My dad already had a D44 one, what the hell do I need a 6 prong D60 one for?

Anthony- mdf is gay, use real wood

I was very, very hesitant to use it. Reason I'm using it is that it sounds better than real wood. Plywood is known for having voids which causes weird resonances whereas MDF has none. It will never get wet, and if it does, I've got bigger things to worry about than just soggy MDF.
