yea i think imma hafta do some fab work to make this right. if the old lookin one in the previous pic is the stock bracket then i dont even have that. mine looks like stamped steel with a vertical bolt hole. it has a regular RE track bar on it now with the heim joint and i cannot for the life of me get it to stay torqued. ill take pix in a bit

that nut on the top is a 1 time use lock nut. tightening it a bunch of times will wear it out. if you want that to stay tight without buying anything new, pull the nut and bolt, clean it with rubbing alcohol and apply medium strength loctite. and torque the crap out of it (torque the crap out of it = 175 ftlbs (if i recall))

A buddy of mine, we were just talking about it for fun then we started really thinking about trading, the only advantage I'd have is 5 tires versus the 4 krawlers, and a random spare..... I just use to hear Q78's were really good stuff. But I do love my stickies

just went out and looked again, i guess my bracket is bolted to the frame, that makes me happy. but its the bolt with misalignment spacers that holds the track bar to the bracke that wont stay tight, and last time i put it on i used threadlock and torqued it to 100 ft/lbs

o well this new one looks like it should work a lot better
