i think i may just have to step the xj to 33s for when i get it back on the road. all i'll have to do is get anthony's old LCAs which should be good for ~4" lift, put in the WJ UCA bushings to the D30, find out why my d44's drums don't go on, maybe re seating the bearing but hopefully not, get that set up with a breather and hardlines, shackes and i should be good? what else will i need? oh yeah i'll get a v8 ZJ tie rod since mine is bent right now anyways - i dont want anything to do with death wobble. ever.

MM, I have HID's coming in the mail later this week, looks like I'm going to go with the Projectors now, seeing as I already bought the bulbs for them.

no, no you don't want anything to do with DW. the 4.10's and ax-15 will be good with 33s.

so i need:

33" mud tires, not too expensive but not too shitty
zj tie rod
new non-smashed crossmember (colin?)
axle vent tubes
d44 hardlines
d44 ubolts
v8 zj front driveshaft
new grease gun
longer shackles (1-1.5", not sure yet what's needed)
tranny jack adapter
2 more jackstands

to do:
replace ujoint in spare axle shaft with junk joint
pull old tranny and axles
put in new d30 and anthony's LCAs
replace 3/4" spacers with 2" spacers
put in new tranny and tcase with SYE
sell old tcase
put in new axles, shim d44
put in zj tie rod
alignment

ahhh i hate insurance companies. because not all the tires were cut at the same time they won't pay for all of them because it all has to be different claims and conviniently under the deductible. does anyone have a cheapo set of stocker tires i can use for a little while on the YJ?

30" all terrains on tj rims the sahara edition ones. 2 are around 50% others i wanna say 65%.... 50$ there yours for the keeping.

i got mine too yayy, got the bracket, and brace today and the bar is coming tomorrow. anybody have specs for hardware for the bracket mine is welded on so theres no hardware to compare to

IIRC, the stock stuff was like 12mm. i replaced everything with some 1/2" grade 8 stuff. for the little strap thingy on the top, i used a piece of 3/16", drilled holes and welded the bolts through it. way beefier then stock

yea i think imma hafta do some fab work to make this right. if the old lookin one in the previous pic is the stock bracket then i dont even have that. mine looks like stamped steel with a vertical bolt hole. it has a regular RE track bar on it now with the heim joint and i cannot for the life of me get it to stay torqued. ill take pix in a bit

the old one is a rusty's HD mount. i could never keep my bolts tight either. eventually, the nuts that were spot welded to the inside of the framerail on the bottom of the bracket broke loose. after awhile, this caused the bracket to loosen up and then crack
