Two questions:
Why did it take me soo damn long to get home? (walked through the door about 10 minutes ago).
And how did I go through literally an entire tank of gas today?

I woke up at 6:45, got sh*t ready and was on the road at 7:30, and I didn't get back until 10, and drove home with the exhaust dumping out under a hole in my floor. I say you can shove it.

And check the thread I made, there is proof that I wheeled today. I'm going through some pics now.

exhaust systems suck, i like exhuast dumping out everywhere and sounding like crap :D





(black jeep will be getting a muffler and full system, itll be the first time in 4 or 5 years)

... off to fix the damn massivemobile... not looking forward to lifting those heads and adjusting valve lash by hand. Everything else should be fine (famous last words.) They gave me the older, crappy style head gaskets with separate fire rings and gasket material, might be doing this job again in a year or two. At least I will know what I am doing by then.

hokay. recovery point time!

are these available in something longer so i can tie it into my bumpah better? or does someone have some intense cutting tools and some 3/4 plate and wanna make me some?

and if not. how the eff are these stronger than these?(see pic below) both are face welded with the same amount of weld area. im just trying to get rid of every noise in my jeep, and shits not klanky at all right now and i the shackles are my last annoying klank.

But it will take 5 1/2 months to get. :D But seriously, I have no clue, I've never/most likely will never order from AJ's.

A piece of 3/4" steel, a 4 1/2" cut off blade, and a grinder wheel can make some though, that is what Ross and I did when we were working on our bumpers at his place.
