I support this, and anything anybody said about underground jeeps, with more people to show up, wheel and cut trails it will only get better... and we have Bump

Sorry , I don't mean to be a PIA but where can I get some more info on the fall crawl and what group organized it, just so next time there is a wheeling event going on I can get on top of it, It sounds like it will be a blast. Any recommendations on a local wheeling club with good semi "local" stuff , I finally got paid and looking to join up with some clubs.

not a pain at all dude. nea4wd.org is where you'll want to look for more info... you can find more detailed info on clubs near you and descriptions to decide what's the best fit for you

-Don't grind the boogers off the flat stock
-Don't get fancy with the rear shock mounts
-If your dad doesn't shoot magic at the carb/distributor just bump the idle to 1000 and do wheelstands.
If I need anything give me a call/voicemail/txt and i'll pick it up between classes. I'll be at your house ASAP right after class. I get out at 11:50 and just have to stop by my house for the tires and tools. Our deadline should be able to be met.

Thanks to rob and jay, don't think I would be anywhere near done otherwise. D30 swaps just keep getting easier...
Also reseated the bead on my tire and swapped it out so I have a spare again.
Stuff left to do: lots. Power wiring for cb, buy food, swamp out jeep from last week, fix tc linkage issue (or say f it, disconnect it, and grab the vice grips like last week), wash laundry and pack clothes, pack beer cooler, tie down random shit in the back of the xj, toss in front swaybar links, fix onboard air, wled rearend if I have time...
From ready to wheel to busted beyond driveable to ready(er) to wheel again in 4 days, a new record for me.
