Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread
hahaha, I'm gonna be running LCA brackets and a boxed/strengthened UCA bracket I welded myself... anyone who is on trail 4 should keep their head down.
oh, and my right leaf shackle mount and frame rail... minor details :eyes: though I've been thrashing on that for a few months without any sign of weakening. I have only wheeled it that way once but I consider driving it a few hundred miles on mass roads with the shackle bottoming out against it on every bump to be pretty good stress testing, it was getting hit pretty hard.
... and my passenger side LCA mount... that I boogered together LAST september when I was probably the worst welder on the planet. That actually held real well for over a year, and took my rear hover convertion / endo last weekend without a single problem. It and the driver side UCA mount were the only things that really stayed attached to the axle, I discovered last night that I even folded up the driver side shock mount.
So don't sweat it really, if my dumbass welding (with a 110 fluxcore no less) from last fall can hold an LCA mount on for a whole year, your awesome miller box and welding skillz will hold anything together.
