THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ya, I was just sitting here zoning out, scrolling through them slowly. I stared at the hummer for a little, then I came to the next picture, and it took me a second to realize that I recognized that picture.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Nope. I'll put my awesome tansmission in R and back off before I earn one .!.:D.!.

so, rather than get cool wheeling related body damage, you'd rather dent it by backing down, into whoever's *not* being a pussy? I don't follow your reasoning, sir...

.!.:D.!.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

good luck getting past mia... your only hope is to bring a .357and even then I wouldn't be too confident if I were you

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

GODDAMNIT! I jsut got invited to go to Hartford on Friday for a party with a bunch of hammerfaced hotties from Highschool. WTF!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

no big deal, you'll just be with a different group of "hammerfaced hotties" ;)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

YES! I can't wait to see you and Colin getting na...:puke:
There's no way I'm backing out of FC for them. There will be another party another weekend.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Tell them they should go to fc with you

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I want lunch to be here now. This morning is dragging by. I want a buffalo chicken wrap.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

3 day wkend followed by a 3 day week followed by a 4 day wkend followed by a 4 day week...

...Doesn't get much better than that  I did that once earlier this summer. It was amazing. Kinda pissed I didn't request Friday off, I would definitely have enough time to get shit done if I had.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

So I just realized I've welded a couple things people will be using at Fall Crawl. This is going to be scary...

Carmelo
- Front bumper mounts and d-ring tab
- Doing a front driveshaft and I think a rear driveshaft?

Travis
- Front driveshaft

So make sure not to walk near these guys :D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

hahaha, I'm gonna be running LCA brackets and a boxed/strengthened UCA bracket I welded myself... anyone who is on trail 4 should keep their head down.

oh, and my right leaf shackle mount and frame rail... minor details :eyes: though I've been thrashing on that for a few months without any sign of weakening. I have only wheeled it that way once but I consider driving it a few hundred miles on mass roads with the shackle bottoming out against it on every bump to be pretty good stress testing, it was getting hit pretty hard.

... and my passenger side LCA mount... that I boogered together LAST september when I was probably the worst welder on the planet. That actually held real well for over a year, and took my rear hover convertion / endo last weekend without a single problem. It and the driver side UCA mount were the only things that really stayed attached to the axle, I discovered last night that I even folded up the driver side shock mount.

So don't sweat it really, if my dumbass welding (with a 110 fluxcore no less) from last fall can hold an LCA mount on for a whole year, your awesome miller box and welding skillz will hold anything together.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ken, you got trail 4? Did a spot conveniently open up between when I checked on Monday afternoon and now? When I checked it was listed as full :dunno:

Edit: Sweet, water pump and upper radiator hose waiting for me at home

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

So, this morning I picked up my rear driveshaft from Jon's Shafts, came home, painted it, installed both driveshafts (the length seems to be good for the front, Colin ) and threw the CB antenna up on top of the Jeep before having to get ready and come to work.

Pretty much all set for Fall Crawl now I think, just gotta check the diff fluid levels, and empty out junk/pack tools and spare parts, camping crap etc, and I'll be good to go! Sooo excited :woohoo:
