EDIT: Kyle - wow, most diesels really hate life if you over rev them (or lug them), stretches the connecting rod ends which wrecks oil pressure, the bearings or wrist pin seizes and it tosses a rod through the block. At least that's what will happen if I over-rev mine too much :scared:

My CTD is the opposite :dunno:. Let it sit idle and it hates life.

People are now unlocking the rev limiter to 4k rpms.

I'm assuming you plan on drinking PBR? I'll bring a 30 rack for you :thumbup:

So I got home tonight to find out that massivemobile parts are arriving tomorrow

Then I picked up my new front axle from rob arty::worship:

Now ima pass out. Tomorrow: welding the hell out of new 30 to make its mounts survive, welding floors more, welding rearend maybe :shhh: thursday: install rear axle and buy food and beer friday: buy everything I forgot Thursday, pack more stuff, roll out!

Josh, I found that grill, all yours I wants it gone. Also got a brand new stock shackle and a sstock shackle with like 200mi on it and a worn spot, still fine,pair are yours for 10 bucks. Still got that steering junk if you want it too.

I have zero intent of sacrificing wheeling fun to avoid body damage, so unless mechanical failure occurs first, expect some dents...

Oh and I'm not getting hammerfaced Friday, I did all my getting hammerfaced for the year at nacfest. Will join in the fun but I inteend to remain sane and somewhat under control.

ken remember that the tb mount on that axle is driled out to 9/16 you could prob just weld on smaller washers or whatever to fix that

People with CTDs are trying to be as cool as people with Duramaxs that can go well beyond 4k rpms stock.

(Granted, that isn't a rev limited rpm its only during grade braking, but still.)
