also, i've been thinking about the joint on top/bottom thing... a trac bar should pretty much never see deflection in the direction the joint is made to be a flex joint when mounted as it would be in the RE 1665, and there's not more than 26* of deflection between the bottom mount and the top, though i guess there could be depending on how it's fabbed and it couldn't hurt to have a flex at each end.

Unless you run radius arms. Pinion stays pointed at the t-case (or wherever it's set to) throughout travel. Now visualize where the trac bar would be at the axle end.

Make sense?
