THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

ooooh no rust!

tempting.....

Apparently there is a little rust on the rockers but not much and the floor pans are all solid. So compared to what I have been finding in this price range so far it's very clean. Hope I get an email tonight saying it's still available but part of me thinks if no one buys it today there is something else wrong with it

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'm so pumped to go wheelin this Sunday, I've been falling into the "talk about lots of crap online and do nothing" group lately.

PLUS I GET TO WHEEL WITH BILLY!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Well that was a waste... Mj they got is an 88 blue sportruck rust monster. Plain rear window, swb, d35/30/231/manual, didn't check engine, bench seat, dummy gauges, about the only good things were the tail lights and tailgate. Pulled the lights, the tailgate can stay unless someone needs it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Last time when we were leaving I was very confused by a guy driving a white VW who waved and said something as I drove by. Then I realized it was Anthony.

Anyone know more than me (i.e. anything) about fuel pressure regulators on 2.5L TBI setups? I'm really hoping I can feed the thing ~40psi from my old 96 fuel pump and it'll regulate it down properly even though it's designed for 14.5psi input. Ideas? Other vehicles I can pull a ~14.5psi pump out of at the junkyard? I really don't want to pay 40 bucks for a pump to make my compressor/generator run.

EDIT: unless cmelo finds holes under the rust on that tank I gave him, I'm pretty sure this was the source of my fuel vapor smells around the MJ:

you looked confused too.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

you looked confused too.
I got hopelessly lost trying to get out of Providence and ended up on that tiny little alleyway I was turning out of when you saw me. Soon after turning onto that alley (which I had thought was an actual street, it got narrower) I realized I probably was not supposed to be driving there and was hoping to look lost and confused so I'd get directions instead of tickets if I was pulled over for it. You'd be surprised how well that works when navigating cities.

I wonder if I can get out of work on time and rig my air compressor setup properly by 8... I have a feeling I'll want the airhorn functional if I'm gonna drive in Providence again.

So how much foodstuffs do they bring around? I.e. should I make an effort to grab a grinder or something before I head down or do they bring around enough that I could substitute bar food for dinner?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Alright, I would love to go to that place but will probably end up ordering a pizza or sub up here with the guys at cornhole since I don't have to head down that way until like 8:15-8:30

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

mm sun. time to go air out my tent for this weekend's spring camp UJ!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I should call home and ask the father to do the same for me since I won't be home until prolly midnight and work all day tomorrow. Or I will just grab a random tent and hope it has all the parts to set it up in the bag and hope whoever used it last let it dry out properly :dunno:

Edit: Jeep sold :(
