Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Coolant temp sensors directly affect the starting of the Jeep.

The last time i had a croissant was 2008.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Long story short, a 5min swap of the cruise servo in Angel's XJ turned into an hour long "what the heck?" until I called a special someone whom knocked some sense into me that the bad coolant sensor was the root of my starting issues rather than the nothing that I did by just disconnecting the battery installing the servo.

Basically the bad sensor was causing it to default into cold start mode, so when the engine was warm it was adding to much fuel and choking the air causing it to stumble unless I gave it some gas. Once it was running it was fine.

No issues now, but it killed an hour out of my bracket making.

I just finished un-begleying the shit outa the mj, which I begleyed up last night. I officially hate master cylinders.

Also the rear brake lines are even more :gee: than I remembered, it's making me consider eliminating the load sensing valve even though I'd like to keep it, since it seems the lines were half-ass reconfigured to attempt (unsuccessfully) to route around it.

Next two days are gonna be busy as hell...

It rolls off the tongue better than "steined" or "whatever-keiths-last-name-is-i-forgot"ed does :spin1:

I wonder what my neighbors thought of me cursing my head off after a line let loose and gave me a faceful of brake fluid. That stuff tastes terrible and feels great in the eyes too.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Anyone pissed off about XXXXing up shit they work on here's this. I XXXXed up not one but 2 760 joints today. That's about $40 of shit down the toilet because I thought it would be a sweet idea to pound in two caps at once. It was a good idea in theory though. I actually only did it to one. The other one is just going to get XXXXed when I pull it back apart to regrind more since the c clips didn't fit in all the way.

I always wanted a truck. Few years ago I rolled a cherokee and looked for a comanche. Couldn't find one. Couldn't find a dodge either. My friend drove a chevy so I figured it must be a decent platform. Found one.

I XXXXing loved that truck.
350(stock and ran like shit)
700r4(TV cable wasn't connected so it slipped like hell)
Np208(Just a gay transfer case)
10 bolt front(haha)
14bolt semifloat rear(HAHAHAHA)

Frame was rotted
body was rotted
...some cross members were rotted

Found a wagoneer, almost bought it. Then, somehow found a Honcho. WTF IS A HONCHO!? The rest is history...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'm trying to rap my head around how a single vehicle can suck in so many ways

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I feel the same way about a vehicle I own now I hate everything about it other than how ugly it is. I love olde boxy looking vehicles from the 90s.

I didn't even own tools when I bought that truck. When it was crushed I still didn't have any. I was in way over my head and i'm only realizing how over my head I was in after I started working on cars more. Junking that thing was one of the best decisions of my life. I now avoid chevys like the plague now.
