Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ya, and Ross never using TIG again.

MARK KICK ROSS IN BALLS!!!!!

5'10"

There is a definitely a height difference. I was looking at '97+ limiteds for a while last year. The few that I test drove, I could definitely notice a height difference between them and mine. (it helps when you show up in an XJ without power seats, and then immediately get into an XJ with power seats).

My response to Mark:

Your too high of a seat height and rubbing your head of the roof has lead to your balding condition.

.!.:D.!.

I've never had a request for them before...but could get them, I suppose, if anyone asked for them.

DO IT!!! im not asking, im TELLING you to do it.

No, I've been balding since before I had a car, so that can't be it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Anyone know the advantage of a double roller timing set versus a non roller? I've researched just quickly on google but don't know if there is any reason for me to get one. I plan on regasketing the 360 and while I was in there I figured I might as well throw a cam in for $100 and if i'm throwing in a cam might as well do new gears and a chain.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I had a mini pizza and a donut instead of two massive fluffernutters, I'm not sure if I ate healthier or not. It's a good thing I don't really care...

anyone know where I can get a 20cf 75/25 tank (without gas) for less than 110 bucks (TSC's price)? That's the best price I've seen so far. I know I should go bigger but I don't really feel like blowing 250+ bucks on a tank I will rarely use.

EDIT: Colin - yeah, I have 3 weeks exact, and my manager agreed that if I was ahead of schedule when I ask for it, I could carry forward one of my unused two weeks of vacation from last year. I don't intend to be in work for most of late May / early July, I intend to be getting a tan and sweating my ass off on the roof of whatever house I buy... speaking of which who wants to learn how to roof a house? :D

(I already know how, been there done that, but it goes faster with helpers)

Well I'm assuming you have a single roller timing chain.

Double roller = stronger, that's about it.

I'd see how much slack is in the chain. I guess it couldn't hurt but you're starting to throw money at a tired engine.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Nice,

I am taking a couple days off for NACfest, then a few days off the wk of 4th of July. Other than that, idk. I (almost exactly) 2 weeks right now, plus a couple personal days aka floating holidays.

I'm going to have Jeff have one in stock for me just in case. I'll be checking it first. Also it's only $30 for a summit brand one so I might just buy it and replace it just because...

Barely over 70k is considered a tired engine now? For an AMC?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Do want that truck! Actually kindof tempted to fly down, but I can't afford that until I sell my car and get another fresh loan.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

better wake that tired engine up with some NOS, cmelo.

If it's that cheap then go for it I guess, but if it's tight why bother?

Didn't know there was that low miles on it. I haven't heard it run for very long so I guess I jumped to conclusions :laugh3:
