I have a HF break that supposedly does up to 16 gauge steel. I am making a roof mount system for my stereo out of some 16 gauge plus re-enforcement material. i have plenty of 16 gauge left. You are free to mooch some of my steel to make a roof mount if you want. Now I just have to figure out a good way to make a CB/ham radio bracket that goes between the headliner and the roof, I'm thinking that bending up some 3" 10ga flat stock and screwing it to the leading and trailing roof crossmembers will work nicely.
I may be able to stop by for a while. See above comment if you want me to bring said items. All that ends Friday night...
(speaking of which, I doubt I'll need help but if anyone feels like dropping by and shooting the shit, I'll throw some beer in the fridge)

=That's a good question, because I know I have 2 airbags from my '99 as well.
My man!
See Mark, this how you get respect. Not only has Rob destroyed more jeeps than you, but his dick is apparently larger as well.
Same, I'll hopefully have a 2wd beam to throw at someone on saturday morning:thumbup:
I hope to get mucho stuff done this weekend.
well a 95 is self contained but I'm sure we can find a way to make it do something stupid. Or sell it on CL for 30 bucks.so when i pull the airbag from my 95 should i try and sell it or do somthing stupid with it? is do somthin stupid what should i do
Can I measure the resistance of the squib on them? It might set them off which is why I haven't done it yet, but I suggest we put things on top of them and set them off intentionally right after that. Sam and a few of the guys in mod tech could use the measurements I need to take, measuring is easier than fully reverse engineering the board in the ACM.That's a good question, because I know I have 2 airbags from my '99 as well.
I'll probably be using much heavier steel than that because the strip has to run the length of the roof (3-4 feet) without any support in the middle, I'm thinking 1/8 or 3/16 thick 3" wide strip. Probably won't bend very nicely on the brake, but it'll do fine in my vise, which I was planning on using. Feel free to show up anytime, just alert me first so I can make sure I'll actually be present or tell you where I went because I may be spending the rest of the day building storage shelves out of 2x4s, plywood, and cement blocks at my storage unit, assuming I get the axle in quickly.I have a HF break that supposedly does up to 16 gauge steel. as long as you promise not to set them off. (I know you said you might, but I'm making you promise). Can I measure the resistance of the squib on them?
