That's a good question :dunno:

If I can figure out where to get another 20k WITHOUT getting a mortgage, I can buy the place with cash, fix it until it's worthy of a mortgage (asbestos removal or abatement, new roof, install a few radiators), then pay back loans.

If not this place, probably a crappy cheap apartment somewhere. No idea yet.

They don't.

I think what Sam was trying to say was caster/camber will play with the spacer.

i.e. if you turn left, the drivers side knuckle swings up while the pass side knuckle swings down due to camber/caster.

aaahh. that makes sense. that one slipped by me. delrin doesn't have a lot of give to it, either. once it compresses, that's that. the brothah's got a point.

ackerman and kingpin/ball joint axises are ghey .!..!.

there are soo many formulas for different setups and designs and useage, i played around with it a bunch when i was palying with IFS builds at school.

UCA bushings, brake lines, tranny and engine mounts, U-joints, and new shackles just got here crown ships fast as usual

if all goes well in 3 hours I'll be doing my gearing the easy way, bolt in + weld things and forget about it

Then I just have to sell off the 4.10:1 gearset and whatnot I already bought :doh: funny thing is that this axle is going to cost less than that gearset+carrier+master kit did, assuming it is what it claims to be.

ill be needing 4.10's for my d30, prob in the next month or so, ken.

Not sure if you mind brand. If you don't, they're Motives. I'll give em to you for 20% off what I paid, which was after the discount, but it's up to you whether you want to go for Motive gears.

EDIT: they're for an hp d30 just to avoid any confusion. I would have run them but if I buy this axle it'll cost me about the same as buying the tools I would have needed to install the gears.

Yeah, high pinions are 84-99. 00/01 they switched to LP.

yeah, im tempted to get a cheap apt for the time being. Then again I kindof have a cheap apt (free). Only payment I have so far is dealing with the parents. idk what's worse... a monthly bill or putting up with them sometimes :laugh:

Though they aren't really all THAT bad (I have put up with them for years now so I think I can keep doing it now) It gives me the time to save up a bit more before I move out again. Father agreed with me and said he thinks I am right that the economy will take [at least] one more hit before it recovers so he thinks it's smart that I decided to hold off on the house shopping for a few more months to lay low and see how everything goes.
