Nope, I think it's quality control more than anything else. I don't actually have $300 to find out though.

If you did have the money Cmelo I would just go with the XRC8 for $300 instead. It may be an 8k winch but I'd trust it more and the specs look better.

I'm about to go chop up a busted d30, anyone need inner Cs or a housing? I'm taking the knuckles, bearings, carrier, R&P, and shafts, the housing is up for grabs, it's not tweaked afaik but the mounts are pretty much rusted off/worthless

Also, if I can get the mortgage bank to approve it, I'm going to be living in Southbridge in a few months.

lookin for ideas for a cheap upper control arm for my 95 i just sold the claytons and need to toss somthin in to move it when need be, got some ft lowers in wich actually pulled the axle back like 4", still got the factory upper control arm mounts dosnt need to be extremely stong as the jeep will only be moved a few feet like this

If Keith doesn't have you covered, I'll be pulling the stock ones out of the mj in the next week or so, working on new front axle now and it'll hopefully be going in soon since the bearings are gone on the beam

Steve - if possible, not sure if I need em but I almost certainly need the bolts that hold em up :gee: if you don't have those I can make some, I discovered that XJ bolts are not usable on an MJ.

So this afternoon I tore apart the 8.25 that I have been running for the past couple years. Apparently I have had a 29 spline axle this whole time Now I gotta figure out what I should be doing with all the parts. Hrmmmmm. back to cleaning up.

what im doing today, calling atlas to get details worked out on my case, then i gotta go out to the garage to finish copping up the back of th eblue jeep, after that its cleaning garage as its a complete mess, tnen ill roll the 98 back into the garage and finish removing the old motor

finished choppin up blue jeep today and got its remains out of the garage, cleaned up a good bit of the garage too, hopefully by the end of the week ill have the 98 back into the garage and the motor out
