Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

 Maybe you can stop by and i'll take my break or something

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ohhhh. Good idea, ready? You take your break, run over to Smokey Bones, I'll buy you a ton of shots, you can get hammerfaced and return from your break in awesome car-working condition :D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'll take that as a YES!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I feel like I should get my Mickey Thompson Classic IIs powder coated black and use them on my next set of street tires (probably getting 36" AT's for the street at some point this year). Time to call the powder coating place tomorrow.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I have moved the :gee:-fab-o-licious engine stand construction project to the living room, right next to the transmission rebuild

well, what do YOU do on a friday evening? :dunno:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'm still at work! :(

Is your gearing gonna be in the 5's? Otherwise, I don't see why you'd want such big tires for the street??

No, going to be running 4.88s. If I do end up going full widths I may change to the 5's but otherwise it will be 4.88s.

Right now I am at 33s (worn down to a measured 31") on stock 3.07s. So 35 or 36s on 4.88s would be comparatively better than what I have now. Plus when I was DDing the Jeep I averaged 18+ mpg due to lots of highway driving on the oversize tires. I would rather have a larger tire and have it be less "fun" but get better fuel economy. I will probably also have the set of 33x12.50 Trxus MTs for "fun" street/trail tire, and the 34" LTBs for my trail only tire.
