Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

My ex's mother used to make some pistachio pudding dessert thing that I was a huge fan of but she would never give me the recipe (and I never got around to looking for it online). I think she refused to give it to me as a joke saying that if I didn't know the recipe I would have to stay with her daughter so I could have it once in a while.

I was just thinking I may have to shoot the ex a message and ask for the recipe... then I figured I might as well go on google and look around first. I found it!

I should call my mother and tell her to go to the grocery store and buy the stuff and make it for me. God sometimes living with the parents is great

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

People really do that...
I know  former greasemonkey from Valvoline Instant Oil Change... we used to have tards pulling up *after* we closed and pitching a bitch when we said "sorry, doors are already closed, register's counted, floors are degreased, alarm system is on, come back tomorrow"

Luckily our manager (the first and third ones I had there anyways, second guy was worthless) was very down to earth and usually joined us in making fun of the person after they left, and always backed us up when we told them to come back later.

Full Throttle is still one of the best games ever.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

That's kind of funny. When we have someone come in late or at a stupid time wanting an oil change we just do a real quick oil change which usually makes the customer happy because I guess most people could give a crap less if we're trying to rotate their tires and make sure there car is in good working order. That's all we did when it was a snowstorm out and people were coming in. I never realized how rediculously quick you can change oil when you have a car on a lift and you're not inspecting every fluid and wearable part on it. I guess that would be called a valvoline instant oil change...

Yeah, it only took us like 15min tops to do an oil change checking everything, but if we'd cleaned up and locked the place down already, not happening. Hated it when people showed up 5min before but we did it. We never made money on oil changes (not the basic natural oil ones anyways) so corporate pushed additional services a lot, we never really focused on those too much at my shop even when corporate was giving us shit about it.

You wouldn't (or would, probably) believe some of the stuff I saw on people's cars there though. One time we had to lift an F250 out of the pit after the total retard driving it ignored the person guiding him in and floored it, luckily he only got one wheel into the opening. He continued his cellphone conversation and then sat there grinning like a moron while we jacked him back out.

Mario Kart taught me everything I know about driving

Remind me to never get my oil changed at Valvoline

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Not better than Mario Kart 64
carmelo wins. by alot.

Nah, I never liked the console type games. Mario Kart is/was fun I'll give you that, but PC games were much better back in the day.

Doesn't matter know much really as I can't sit down and play any game whether is be console or PC without having to get up and do something else after 20-30min. I don't like wasting my time when I could be doing something productive. :)

I'd tell you to change your own oil, but I know who I'm taking to. :D

I can't argue with you there. I don't know the last time I've played any video game, at all.

You clearly aren't aware that you can play mario kart on your PC just as easily. Not too mention it has online multiplayer. You should play that instead. It's more fun and much more productive. Think of the upperhand you would have on everyone else offroad if you were a mario kart champion like me.

Up until last night when my brother told me he wanted to play an old school game; same here.
(Yes, it was late, and I had finished on the Jeep at that point)

So in 1995 I could play Mario Kart online with people?

I was only allowed to play video games when it wasn't a good idea for me to be playing outside (like a thunderstorm). Otherwise I was sent outside. I wish kids today did it that way.
