Most people in my town know how to drive in the snow pretty well. One time last year i was doing like 40-45 down a small back road with a full line of cars doing the same in an inch or 2 of slush/snow on the road. No one had any issues at all.
It was pretty amusing since I had literally just got back from VA where I got stares like I was a lunatic when I went for a drive when we had.. flurries.. :roflmao: (not saying all VA drivers are this bad... but the ones around me in Alexandria were
I moved back from VA early in January. If anyone remembers NE getting a bit of a snow storm in early to mid January '09, I was driving home from VA in the middle of that storm. I was in the altima, my father was in a box truck behind me. I got onto Rt 495S since we took the long way home in order to stay on main roads (rather than back roads which I normally took). Once on 495 I got a call from my father saying "as much as you are having fun in the snow again, you should really slow down a bit. don't want you showing up at home too much earlier than me, might get your mother asking questions" or something along those lines, apparently I had got like a half mile ahead of him pretty quick. The only people on the road were me and him, and even he was doing 60+ in the box truck. Eventually we caught up to some plows and had to slow down, ruined my night

The next day I just found all the roads that my town was too lazy to plow often and drove around in the snow. Now I have Jeep back and it should be even better!
