I'm gonna be driving to work on MTs with 1/8 of tread left, it's gonna be FUN!yay for snow tomorow, gonna leave early for work just so i can have fun
great story from today. I had one of my clients come on the van and tell me "I had to be restrained today" then he proceeded to start punching the windows of the van. 2 staff, a man and woman came to calm him down. He droped the woman first with a punch to the shoulder and bit her arm then kicked the guy square in the stomach and knocked him backwards. It took 4 people to bring him to the floor. less than 5 minutes later he did the same thing and had to be restrained again. after all was said and done he ripped the radio off the center console and broke one of the poles that goes from the floor to the high top. He was fine the whole way home but i drove really fast and told him santa would bring him everything he wanted if he didnt freak out and destroy the van.
Change all fluids, standard tune up. If battery wasn't in perfect shape before it was put away and it was left drained, then it could need to be replaced. Check bearings/brakes., everything else. Grease up everything, check all sensors etc. Like I said, maintenance, not replace tons of parts. And my Jeep was sitting for 18 months and it is running great now. I don't see what it will "defiantly need" :dunno: yeah it may need some odds and ends, but nothing MAJOR if it was put away in OK condition and wasn't left in the middle of a field being overgrown or anything. Mind you I didn't look at the ad, so maybe I am missing something. But just a thought.. Maybe I will buy it if I look at the link  Only thing I can think of that stopped working or went wrong in the 18 months of storage are that the track bar relocation bracket is clunking again, gotta tighten that down.
If its either low or high, its the Blower Resistor motor.themangeraaad said:the heat/AC control now is either on or off... no in between. someone mentioned it may be some resistor under the passenger side dash, not sure. I still think it may be a vacuum line that got attacked by a mouse. We will see. I hope its not vacuum line. I would rather not re-run the lines :banghead: Oh well, I still have heat.. but its either heat or not heat. I thikn I can pass inspection like that... right? Just gotta have heat...?
Blower motor resistor seems to run over $100! Damn, looks like I am going to the JY and pulling a few of them to make sure one works. And I don't know if its a requirement, I just know I had one guy ask me if heat worked :dunno: I figured heat was a requirement (but AC is not). I would never have worried about heat working or not except that, well, I am getting inspected in the middle of winter. In the past it's always been done in the summer so things like that could slide byIf its either low or high, its the Blower Resistor motor.
Since when has having heat been a requirement for an inspection? My red Jeep hasn't had heat since I got it.
Morning. Yay, 5"+ and its still falling good.
We are pushing 6" now. Nice light at fuffy but the rain/sleet we are supposed to get later is going to make it stink.I would rather have that than the moat that my front yard has turned in to this morning.
