The thing about Boston that bugs me is that the T stops running at what: right about midnight? When I was down in Alexandria the train in/out of DC ran until something like 3AM... so once bars closed I could still get a ride out.

12:30 is last train for the T. (Green line at least, I have no reason to believe otherwise for the rest of them)

Maybe you woulda been lucky enough to be the first person ever to break a u-joint causing the kingpins to kill themselves...you were thiiiis close.

And at 25 you can rent a car. I'm thinking of renting something awesome for a day when I turn 25... just because I can.

Edit: If car insurance goes down at 25, thats awesome. I have heard that as well, but maybe 6 months ago I got a new insurance provider who gave me a list of different "driver levels" or something. Level 98 was considered a very safe driver, level 99 was considered a super awesome safe driver or something, 98 came with some discounts, 99 came with even more discounts.

Surprisingly I somehow managed to pull off a level 98 Means I should be a level 99 within a year I think. Unless you can only be a level 98 until you turn 25... maybe that's where the age come into play.

And on a side note, I had never heard of "level 98" on insurance, I always thought it was like 9-28 or something. Maybe this was some other form of breakdown that my insurance company converted the other values into? :dunno:

For anybody who cant tell thats the XJ's front brake line to the pass. caliper. It goes from the valve across the motor and down, piped thru copper tubing. Its looks spiffy. I want him to do my brakelines.

Yikes! I want him to do my radiator plumbing but I think I'll do my own brake lines.

as for ages, 25 is when you can rent a car (as said already) and I believe 26 is when you are no longer eligible for a theoretical draft; 35 (or is it 50 now?) is when stores are no longer required by law to card you for alcohol/tobacco purchases. At some point you can look forward to a lot of mail from the AARP.

i think you should go to autozone or whatever parts dealer that is at your disposal and rent one...then you can finish your cool tranny...then you can swap in into your Jeep, throw a 3-link together, sell that V-Dub, throw something unique like mogs under your Jeep and wheeeeeeeeel!...cuz I can't and i'm crying...

I'm not sure really. I was planning to get mine at the Hollands all you can carry with a bunch of other stuff for $75, so I'm afraid I can't say it's worth much to me :laugh:

he jumped right into this thread after just joining naxja. some of us that weren't post whores in the beginning still have a low-ish post/day rating. by "low" i mean still above 8 for almost 2 years. hey that's me.
