I think you'd startle them more by jumping while they're asleep

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

ps- jeff will now have some 5-806x spicers in stock:D:D:D:D
Jeff do you care to chime in with what you want for a 5-806x? I want to carry one as a spare, I might just end up getting it with my shafts anyway. PM me if you don't want to post it.

bill is so awesome he makes up his own acronyms
I know. :D
I think FTML (for the mega loss) would fit better for this situation Bill.
Already taken for a totally different meaning. FTML

You think you're going to break a longfield before egging out the ears on a shaft?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

putting amplifier back together now

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

The thing about Boston that bugs me is that the T stops running at what: right about midnight? When I was down in Alexandria the train in/out of DC ran until something like 3AM... so once bars closed I could still get a ride out.

I don't expect the commuter rail to run until 3 AM, but the T would be nice. Get me out to my car parked at braintree or quincy adams or something so I didn't have to drive all the way in.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Colin you know you want to put that in your sig, let's get all of NAC set up with out-of-context quotes from MrSimon in their sigs and see how long it takes for the questions to start coming.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

car insurance rates go down @ 25 i've heard... in other news, the amp is back together.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

And at 25 you can rent a car. I'm thinking of renting something awesome for a day when I turn 25... just because I can.

Edit: If car insurance goes down at 25, thats awesome. I have heard that as well, but maybe 6 months ago I got a new insurance provider who gave me a list of different "driver levels" or something. Level 98 was considered a very safe driver, level 99 was considered a super awesome safe driver or something, 98 came with some discounts, 99 came with even more discounts.

Surprisingly I somehow managed to pull off a level 98 :D Means I should be a level 99 within a year I think. Unless you can only be a level 98 until you turn 25... maybe that's where the age come into play.

And on a side note, I had never heard of "level 98" on insurance, I always thought it was like 9-28 or something. Maybe this was some other form of breakdown that my insurance company converted the other values into? :dunno:
