no, but some of us will still try.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

well you have a valid point, but i dont want a rusty bike or frostbite

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I still want to strap my board to my backpack and head to the mountain to go riding. I think that would be the best day of my life... ever.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Exactly. If there isnt snow on the pavement it's fair game right?
i'm gonna stop riding when the salt hits the road.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

4 Wheels for meeeeee. Too many 90 lb. girls driving Escalades, drinking Starbucks, texting, talking on the phone and getting McDonalds for their 12 4-year-olds ( who know how to drive as much as she does).

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I've always had some kind of atv or dirt bike. Now that we're selling them all I need a street bike. And most of my family has one so it's what we do.

bikes are so nimble and fast that as long as you ride 10-15mph faster than traffic with excessive acceleration at times, it's safer than riding at the pace of traffic. i don't want people to think of me as "that guy" that's gonna get himself killed by riding too fast... i'm not talking weaving in and out and stuff, but... i dunno. i find it safer when you move around and pass people, that way they see you because you're moving, and there's less people next to you to hit you.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

as for gears, go as deep as you can go with the axles......

4.56's or deeper works good for 33+. im happy with my 4.56's and 35's, it does its job

i look forward to 5.38's with stock 8 lug rollers:D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

if i didnt have a center console. my elbow wouldnt know what to do with itself
There are permanent indents on my center console lid and door arm rest from my elbows in mine.

I've not had my center console ever fly open while wheeling.

I DO however always spill my change all over the place. Just ask Carmelo :roflmao:
I got nailed with a bunch of stuff from that little cubby under the glove compartment at Lobster's.

The 4.56 vs 4.88 debate to me is hard. MY uncle's YJ is running 4.10's on 35s and tops out at 65 at 4k in 5th. So when I tell my dad I want to regear he says I'm stupid for wanted 4.56's on 33's. I guess I would have to go for a ride in both. Or better yet drive both.
I drove my friends YJ home from one wheeling trip after mine needed to get trailered. It had 4.88's, 5 speed, and 33's, and I was able to cruise at 70 with the rest of the group from RI back to the Cape.

Yeah he has a 4.2 and he swapped the pukegoat tranny out with some other 5-speed but I forget what. Any one have 33's and 4.88's that'll give me a ride?
When are you planning on doing gears? I have 4.56 on 33's you could probably drive after I make it safe again in January sometime.

I'll take you for a ride in mine.

4.88s and 35s are still not enough to me. I'd rather have 5.38s like Sam did.
You could also put my tires on Colin's Jeep for 4.88 and '33s, if he will let you. You have to take my tires off and on though, I hate doing it since they are so damn heavy.

if you buy rusty or RR over RE kittens will die

i had the track bar till i went to a DOM one but i still have the brace and bracket and they are very very nice, and .75" heims with high misalignment spacers fit very well into the bracket
Ya don't buy Rusty's or RR or even RC over RE.

I don't like kitties. Maybe I should buy the RR stuff... No I'll end up getting the RE but it's going to take a huge chunk out of my motorcycle fund.
I thought you said at Lobster's you were done with the going fast stuff?

Holy sweet jesus that was a lot of quoting. I wont be regearing untill I need new tires so I figure spring/summer time. But for the bike, just because I'm buying a bike doesn't mean I HAVE to go fast. Strong possibility though. For some reason I've always felt safer on a bike then in/on a car.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

my center has a permanent indent... not the door though

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

instead of regearing, you can buy my axles with awesome steering and brakes and track bar and bracket and brace included!!!
