Meh, it'd be just as bad with body damage... Unless he did a full exo with tires attached all around.

Well given the sentamental value of it then I say get it fixed and have him help with it. You should be able to find a mj in a JY or being parted out and cut the roof off from a few inches down the a and b pillars to be grafted in. All the dents in the bed can be pulled out fairly easy by a body guy with a good dent puller like the ones that weld the metal rods to the body. The kid will get better as time goes on or become a body man.
He is just a bad driver, thats the only way I can explain it. My wife and I are good drivers, no wrecks or tickets between us. But our kids suck at driving. I guess it skips a generation.
Tell him to quit looking a the f-ing star on the hill and drive dammit!
I'd repair it - But then I'm a vehicular sentimental.
Hahaha, I take it you have been through "The Star City of the South" before!
Yup. My wife grew up there, went to Northside, we visited in 2004 for her reunion.
Did you see the recent post in the Craigslist for SEC looks perfect for you!

hello from Stuart, been to that star many times, remember before 911 when it was all white. only 50 miles or so depending on how I go, my ol'lady took her nephew to hospital for an apointment up in Roanoke yesterday, brought me back some Dunkin Donuts.
the damage doesnt look bad from what I see, are you planning to remove the bed, & put new bedsides in? or going to pull them out? I only saw the passanger side, & the side looks repairable from my screen, roof clips are easy, but prep work, takes the time, but still doable in a long day, it has been over 10 years since I clipped a roof, been 3 or so years since I did anything major, like replacing floors in a 69 Camaro.
