Nice job Tim (and Steve I guess).

Replaced the starter in my XJ today and drove it for the first time in 3 months. Now all I gotta do is fill it with gas and get my fire extinguisher recharged.

Flex- Yeah zj tie rods. When i got it all the tie rods were shot. So I got that set up from upull.

I just picked up a new set of doors for it today from liberty. Rust free. wont put them on till later tho.

you guess? hell, i did more work on it than tim did. i even drove it to advance to show him when we got it done. lol

to tims defence, me and a buddy did it in class, it went toward our driveability class credit.

made it home last night with the new EXO in the back of the truck...not sure it will be on by WF, but gonna give it a shot.....also Sant in teh brown suit dropped on my new Bilsteins for the rear of the XJ...gonna be fabbing up the new mounting set up today and tomorrow....

lol, i know. im just poking fun at tim. it took two of us to lift mine. after a crazy night at a party we woke up to find the axles out from under my xj. we dont really remember putting he lift on. but a year later and it drives fine! :farmer:




dont worry, i went over every nut and bolt the next day. its all good.

Stil have to get tow hooks mounted and find my flywheel cover and get it put on. Cant remember where I put it tho.

Making progress... Gears are done (went with 4.88's) and the rear axle is in and put together. Need to do brake lines, rear shocks, and have the drive shaft shortened.

$85 to ship sliders from JCR... but it'll cost me $80 for gas in the Tahoe to drive up and get 'em... my "short list" now includes getting the clutch changed in my Accord so long trips like that don't kill me...

Yea, I imagine for simplicity they just charge the same wherever they're shipping it. I will give them a call and see what I can do, I might just make the trip up there anyway. Sounds like a cool place from what I've heard.
