OOH.. nice. I have budgeted to get these next month so any tricks to the install let me know. I'm a beginning mechanic so I seem to struggle with most thing I do to Babajeep.

Today we make up for the Craig fumble, and the loss of Montana and the game. :flamemad:

I am going for a 9er vs Raven Super Bowel.

Cool mod and you will love them! You can always weld them up after which is probably why you opted for V2. Can't wait for the game to start! Ravens/Niners!!
 
My XJ will be up for sale within a month, following clock spring replacement and wheel swap. PM me if interested. I will be adding the relo brackets this weekend and there is nothing else wrong with it. Frog is strong like bull. Lots of great parts....so many memories...buyer must not be an ass hat.
 
why are you spending money on new wheels if you are selling it right away?
sounds like a way to lose money to me.

will you be changing your screen name to rocknwj? rockntj? rockntaco?
 
Job change due to impending program cancellation.

Rims will be changed due to damage to two of them (thanks, rocks!) and will replace with steel instead of the preferred aluminum. Unless this is factored into the purchase, the next owner can swap out rims as desired but at least the new steel ones will look roadworthy.
 
sell a kidney, keep the XJ.
it's the right thing to do.


btw, sorry to hear about the job situation, hope it works out for you in the long run.

All - I should first thank you all for your support and concern for my welfare, but I'm actually in a very good position and have been offered some extremely good opportunities this week and will likely take a job within my current company. That will have me working out of SoCal and will be doing a ton of driving back and forth for awhile. I intended for this thread to be about the XJ and not about me, but you guys ROCK and your concern reminded me of how great the NAXJA organization and its members are.I sincerely thank you.

Now, back to the Jeep...I'm selling it mainly for logistics and will lose much of the $16k I have into it. My kid and I can always build another one...but we'll see how things go.

Blah...SoCal. Yuck.

I have always enjoyed our posts and the look of your XJ. Excellent right ups with humor for the good and bad. Glad to hear you are likely to continue having employment, good luck with everything.
 
The Green Machine cant be the only Cherokee in the driveway :( Hope we have a Jeep to mess with when I come home
