The plate was busy this week.....He started by visiting a few friends, 6 of them actually..

Then he went to see the mighty Mississippi river roll on by...

He stopped at a nice little spot along the road..

Found a old Lime Kiln in Iowa...

There was a LOT of windshield time in his travel from LaCrosse, WI to St. Louis..

Finally he got to see an actual operating analog TV transmitter...

Of course in another 2 years....this will be worthless, it is being replaced by a new digital unit...

Here is the filter that keeps any off channel emissions out of the antenna...the large copper pipes are actually co-ax "cable", that is what you need for 10K watts.

After work, we had a final dinner together...I was a bit to distracted to get good pics, sorry...

Upon returning home I found a gift....

And for good measure, the plate enjoyed playing with my dog..
