Flashback to '05 the weekend right after CoFest......

Me and my '04 GTO....

Crunch and his Suzuki....

BLoose and his Buel....

Challenge: Spend the day on twisty mountain/foothill roads..... and see if the GTO could keep up.

Route: From Littleton - C470 into Golden, up the Lariat Loop (Lookout Mountain), US40 to Genessee and onto I-70 to the Evergreen Exit (hwy 74), thru Evergreen and across to Conifer. Hwy 285 back down to Pleasant Park Rd, which becomes the High Grade Rd (very twisty) and down Deer Creek Rd, and eventually Deer Creek Canyon Rd, exiting onto S. Wadsworth..... and 470 back to Littleton.

This is what I saw for a majority of the run......

But I did get to see motorcycle tires before and after..... and Crunch showed me exactly what "chicken strips" were NOT....... :thumbup:
