85 2.5L automatic XJ for parts, asking $500, who wants a factory-geared 4.56 front diff? http://hartford.craigslist.org/cto/3712923068.html
(check the tags first, but it's probably 4.56, or at the very least 4.10. I bet that thing's worth 200+ in scrap, or sell the motor to a YJ guy for 100, scrap the rest for 200, keep the axle, pay 400 and you have a 100 dollar 4.56/4.10 d30)
I'd grab it but I don't need anything off it and don't feel like dealing with a part-out.

Craigslist Seller said:Up for sale is a very rare 1991 Jeep Comanche, Eliminator Edition. 4.0L, 6 cyls of pure power carried on four brand-new tires, paired with a five speed manual power train. New alternator. new battery, and new plugs are included, four new speakers installed matched with a CD/MP3 player with removable faceplate. Bucket seats will collect your spine as you take off down the street at a pace thought only reachable by NASA. New halogen bulbs will light the road as you cruise into the sunset.
There is one spot of rust on the passenger's side, and the paint job isn't perfect up close (looks good going down the street though). Oil pressure is good, but the oil pressure gauge isn't accurate (needs a new sending unit, most likely).
She's powerful enough to get scratch in second gear, but I'm a pretty conservative driver, she's not often put through her paces. She's reliable, about three months ago she got me from Kansas to Massachusetts with a full payload in the rear. I have the tailgate removed at the moment, makes the interstate driving go by a little swifter that way.
To prevent any confusion here, I do have a lien on the title with the Topeka Police Credit Union (my loan is through them), so getting the title will take a short amount of time. I'll be using Escrow.com to verify funds for my leinholder and get the title cleared.
The Jeep is available to see and test drive in Medford, where I currently live. If this Jeep doesn't drop-kick your heart into high gear, I'd suggest swinging by a doctor's office and getting a checkup done.
