It's getting kind of weird how many red 5 speeds there are. Also, that back bumper looks like shit, the front one is proven to be gay, and it has a turdy five, wicked overpriced indeed.

Nope, car-part. The XJ setup is doable but it's 30 vs 50 bucks (since we'd have to pull one at sams) and he'd rather spend the 20 bucks than have to hack stuff up and weld it. Oh, and I haven't seen a M/T XJ at sams in like 8 months now, and car-part pulls it so I don't have to sit on my head under a goddamn dashboard in the junkyard.
That purplezj method of using an XJ one looks pretty hack, though functional... you will be surprised to know that it is a little more hack than I'd be happy with installing on a jeep.
I think it was mostly because that kid is a hack, if you took your time/had an idea what you were doing I think it would come out better. What tranny is your buddy going to run?
