Anthony needs a Jana 87.

D80 gears in his D70 and use a D60 spool to be able to reuse you're current shafts.
That wouldn't even come close to working. I don't know about the D80 / D70 ring gear pattern, but I know the D70 ring gear pattern is a lot bigger than the D60 ring gear pattern. And They make a spool for the D70. But why would I want a spool when I just bought a BNIB Detroit for the same price?

I don't think I'll have to worry about frying a set of D70 gears anyway. I don't even know what the weak link might be. All these parts are enormous.
 
The weak link when dealing with D70s and D80s is your biceps.
 
That wouldn't even come close to working.

But yes, the 60 spool does look tiny and some may have issues of personal prefrenece if they like/dislike the setup

Sam, a guy in my class has a GM 3/4 ton burban axles. 8 lug 44/14b with a set of 35's on wheels and 4" lift springs for the front and rear. He want's $400 for it all. i was going to buy them for the 14b but I can't even think about it right now.
