A.) Just to piss you off... It's almost like the train drivers by MY house who blast the horn constantly at 3 am.

B.) Possibly, however your odds of hitting a small bird at any distance with double ought buck are slim. Remember, 00 Buck is basically 9 rounds of .38 which means you don't get many pellets. Person, sure, it'll kill 'em. For a bird, use birdshot. And even if they DO hit the power lines, birdshot won't hurt it.

Or just use a high powered pellet gun.

for guys with HID setups:

do the HIDs work with the headlight off delay timer deal?
where the best place to mount the ballasts and bixenon controller?
whats a reliable online store to get them from? i tried vvme like you told me crazyjim but their ordering site is messed up and kept saying my email address was wrong.
finally how do you make sure the lights are aimed properly?

all the help anyone can give is welcome!

thanks

Yes the headlights work with the headlight off delay timer. They act a little funny though, as follows:

If I turn my headlights off and leave the jeep on, only one goes off. To make the other one go off I just have to hit the high beam quickly. If I am parking, and turn my headlights off, then turn the ignition off.. they both go off. If I turn the ignition off THEN turn the headlights off they stay on for the delayed time like stock, then go off normally.

As far as mounting the ballasts, I'll get you pictures later. There's plenty of room actually in my 2000.

Like I said I got them direct from VVME for the true bi-xenon kit, which is HID high and HID low, not HID low with halogen high. The bulb actually tilts and retracts within it's shield to switch to highs. If VVME's site is acting up, give them a few days, and try again. Or I can try to order it for you, since I know it works for me, and you can paypal me the money.

As far as aiming the lights, pull up to your garage and aim them like you would any other normal headlight. If you buy the non-hi/lo HID's then there's no aiming them, since the bulb uses the whole headlight housing. Thus refracting light from the hi AND the lo side of the housing.
