thanks for ?????

:dunno: but I am doing my reasearch.

I led a group down upper 2 on Friday, and we didn't get to Lower 2 until 11 AM or so...we didn't see any other group (of anyone) until our late-sleepin hardcore crew came up Lower 2

There were quire a few XJs in another group who were at the CG when we returned @ 0030 Sat AM

I saw the red/white/and blue xj on the side of the road but the hood was not up, 4 ways not on, hatch was not open, etc. All of the traditional signs of "HELP" that I've come to know and expect. I would have been asking for help from any group that passed, since we travelled in large groups it would have been easy to flag down someone during the convoy passing by. Critter you even passed within 10 feet of my ride and me at the campground, I'm as guilty as you for not being friendly enough to say hello. Felt guilty about not saying hi when you left. Pasco county tag right?

Ditto

I my self would not knowingly pass by an Explorer or even an H2 on the trail. I have been passed while sitting on the side of the trail while looking at a map, fixing my wedgey, or just having a brain fart. On the other hand, when my actions have made me appear as though I might have a problem, I more times than not have to wave people on.
I have had bad days where I misinterprited every thing around me. I have days that I make it my mission to see how many people that I can piss off. Strike that, weeks. Practice makes perfect.
As for the Great Dane, and Great is not part of their name to imply size, if they are not in their own yard, CANNOT be pissed off. That is one thing that they do not do. What I have learned(sometimes the hard way) is that when excited can be leathel. They don't know how big they are, they "just want to have fun". when trying to play with smaller animals, they tend to rise up on their hind legs and then slam all of their weight down to a crouched position. The down side to this among other things are mass and very large nails on even bigger feet.
I am sorry that the only person that stopped to help you, was the one who's Great Dane told him to do so.

Some days you're the Pigeon, some days you're the Statue. :D

Really though...I hate that Critter got passed by. I have been in jams that required help (or at least support/encouragement) and off-roaders have always stepped up.

One of the reasons I don't miss the Harley scene is that many of the "new" bikers didn't give a rats tail for anything but how 'cool' they were lookin.

But if he made no attempt to ask for help, he's more in the wrong than anyone that passed him by.

OneTon needed a allen wrench just before we headed into Lower 2 and I ran down the trail to catch a group of CJ's to see if they had it, they did, Sean fixed, all good.

This 'clown' should be back here with more response and information than he's done. I'd say to hell with him if he jumps in here and accuses us of wrong doing and doesn't have the balls to come back in on the conversation.

it's done, don't expect me to help any red, white, and blue XJ's ever again, especially if they're dressed like a clown. He's ruined it for all the patriotic, four wheelin clowns in this world.

Now what do you think Critter????? Eh?

Critter saga redux....

I vaguely remember that XJ now. He sure wasn't giving ANY signs of distress. I believe that we even paused there a bit. I think that he is confusing us with some of that bunch of XJs, etc. from Asheville. We didn't do any wheeling on Sunday that I've heard about. I wouldn't loose any sleep over this guy. We certainly paid our dues on Friday evening (and into Saturday O' Dark Hundred. Sounds like another yahoo like that one from the Red Rock 4-Wheelers who tried to strap us on a few months ago.
We help EVERYBODY that asks!

seriously........

how much time is going to be given to this thread?????

I know I wasn't there but..........

case closed........

you can't impress a malcontent.

I went to the Tellico crawl on fri, sat, and sun. on fri at the rock garden(lower 2) Me and my 7 month old puppy were attacked by a great dane. I twisted my ankle, sprained my knee and sprained my back in the attack. on saturday i broke down on the main trail(trail 1).

I hate to see anyone left behind without getting help however..

If the above happened to you on friday what the *ell were you doing on the trail on Saturday?

I might be missing something here but it sure doesn't sound right to me.

Next time you need help SPEAK UP while on the trail, I haven't yet seen a NAXJA member pass anyone up without offering any help. Might have you been disorented from all the pain you were in?

mark

sorry Beezil just saw this and....
