TFT run at Badlands Dec. 4th

And I spoke too soon. I actually don't have the days off that I thought I had and then Rosco called and said that parts for his weren't going to be until right before we would've left. So I think that's a sign. I haven't missed a T4T for a couple of years and I hate backing out of a trip.

The good news is that I'm getting some work done on the xjpopcanbuggy that needed to be done...at least be ready for winterfest.

mac 'there's always next year' gyvr

There is a good chance I will be in attendance... Probably not too much hardcore wheeling.

Cher' wheelin on a college budget' bear

I am most likely out on this trip now... I was hoping to take tomorrow and Friday off so I could work on moving stuff out to the new place, but I'm getting a lot of pushback at work about it, so it looks like I'll spend Saturday and Sunday moving.

There's always a small chance that I'll say screw it and come out anyway, but it's not looking very likely. Have fun everyone.

I'm still thinking about coming but we'll see what work says about that. Also heard there is a good chance of a few inches of snow that day. Could be an interesting day.

Well if it doesnt snow, I will be there.

Well, I'm mandatory to work this weekend. Guess its a good thing that 33x10.5 KM2's are $161 a tire on tire rack! :D

I love to wheel when its snowing, the badlands is a blast!

Too bad it didn't work out.

mac 'camper would've been a great assest too' gyvr

Ya, but towing in the snow is no fun.

I've towed longer in worse...

one trip to the badlands took me over 6 hours in the ice...usually its a less than 3 hours trip...

the more you weigh the better it is...

i wish i could go

mac 'tho your tow rig is 2wd, i still think you should accept the challenge' gyvr

Yeah I got some weird looks at work when I saw that! I should have a set in the next month if I work all of Christmas shutdown.

Flexd'triple time is awesome'XJ

Planning on being there - coming from the Joliet area - hopefully the weather not complicate the drive.
Is there a staging area for the newbies who don't know any of the rigs??

All loaded up. Steve give me a call in the AM, and we will try to hook up along the way. we run 57 down, and come in th back way. The waggie looks the same except for some more cosmetic surgery thanks to wheeling with Sponge Bob.

We have a group of jeeps going from IndyORV. Unvailing the second cummins diesel swap. Were meeting in the upper lot around opening. For anyone that wants to jump in or just to stop by and say hay

Have fun today all. Mike, sorry I couldn't make it. I am at work already and the snow is coming down good. Should be an interesting day to say the least!

I am awaiting some interesting stories upon the conclusion of the day. I've always wanted to wheel in the snow, too bad it didnt come down last weekend when I was there! That would've been great.
