Swamp Lake ???'s

Hey Guy's . Had a few ???'s about Swamp Lake. I know it's early, but Our club is going to run it this year & I just want to make sure I'm ready. Last year I ran the Dusey w/ them,with no real problems & just wanted to see how Swap Lake compares to the Dusey, & what I should expect.

Last year I ran the Dusey ending @ Cartright (sp) Res, truck set up = about 5" lift 32x11.5 BFG Muds, D30 Tru-Trac Front, Detroit 9" rear 4:11's 5sp x 6cyl skids all around, Standard T-case gearing.

Upgrades for this years run,= Tera 4:1 & 2low & Detroit up front.

You'll never make it.

Really, Swamp is much easier than Dusy.

Should be no problem...I did swamp with 31's, no fender trimming...but I did have rock rails....beat the shit out of my rig...but it was fun.

Hey Crash, is it more open Trail or are there a lot of tight sections, & low overhead like Dusey?

It's pretty much the same as Dusy. Some tight spots & some rock gardens. I wouldn't say it's easier than Dusy, except for the endurance of not have to run the 33 miles of trail.
