Swamp Lake Aug 4

For those of you interested me and one of my TJ buds are running Swamp Lake Aug 4. We plan on camping Friday night somewhere in the vicinity of the trail head and starting out Saturday am. We expect to come off the trail sometime Sunday pm.

We'd like to have some company because it's just him in his TJ and me in my XJ and sometime spotting can be a pain with just two people, lol.

Swap lake is a great run. Fun to drive and scenic.

Yep, beautiful trail. Take your time and don't rush there are some nice vistas along the way.

Im down to go. Was already planning a trip there that weekend anyways. I wont be able to get up there until sat morning but i'll be there.

We are planning on hitting the trail at 10am. CB channel 5, a red XJ and a white TJ so far.

There is good camping on the left a few hundred feet past the Dinkey Creek bridge on McKinley Grove Road.

Tow rig parking too.

I was down there last weekend with the so-cal guys. The trail is a bit more torn up than I remember. It was a nice run though, the weather was perfect, and Grouse Lake was the perfect camping spot for the weekend.

i may be taging along with wiser to get his jeep off the trail. I may take my jeep too though not entirely sure yet. gotta see if the wife wants to go too. if she does then i will most likely take the jeep. May see you up there casey!
