Since ScottMac and Hinkley decided to ruin a perfectly good thread Jes and I had going I'll have to start a new one with my questions. :)

About an 1/8 of a mile past (heading south) the horse refuge sign there is a pull out and a trail off to the left of the paved road. It's just before the exit to carnage. Isn't that one of the trails? I had ruled it out and didn't explore before it dawned on me that could be it. I'm thinking it's the one with a large ledge to get in and almost everyone has to winch it to get started.

Also, where is that trail south of Blacks Creek Res.? I've looked for it a few times, but haven't been able to make it before dark. Isn't it fairly close to that train bridge?

Checked out about three others on the opposite side of the road from carnage and only found sh*t people were hauling out there and shooting. One of these day's I'm going to catch one of those ********s and make them eat their trash and claim ownership of a new gun until they clean up an entire area. :D

That one went right to the delete file and never even saw the garbage bin!

:D

Yes, you and Jes helped make it get there, so don't act so innocent. :D

This is the way I remember it:

You and Scott were getting way out of hand. I mentioned that you should clean it up and Scott made some personal threats towards me. Jes had to jump in to defend me. It turned out to be a free for all bash against us. We finally had to back away and let it run its course.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. :laugh2:

It appears it ended shortly after I quit. I do need to get Jes and ScottMac to send me some of those items though. That was the best thread ever.

So Mark, when are you coming to Idaho for a snow run? It's getting close, I just need to find some wide F-C's or Gumbo's, add in full bump stops and I'm set. If we get a lot I don't think the new 35 mtr's are going to cut it.

I wondered WTF happened to that thread :D Were you guys posting pics or just talking smack? I thought my last pic might have been to much or something, I came back and the thread was gonzo :D

Lincoln, I'm not sure about the Blacks Creek trail you're talking about and the Meat Grinder trail I don't think I could explain how to get there in words without actually being there, so basicly I'm worthless :D

I'll upload the pics I have of Meat grinder so you can see the obstacles at least.

Send me the ones I didn't post.

And I hope your happy.

I tried to wake the wife around 5 a.m. and she said some stuff that didn't make me feel confortable at all. I had to hold my fingers in a cross and back slowly out of the bedroom. I didn't get to leave until 10 or so.

Snow is that white stuff that make you feel all tinglely when played in too long. Very managable in depths up to a few feet. Depths around 10 or 12 is where it's at and I usually end up having to bum ride. I just figured out I think I could run 38's with very limited travel. If I can find a set of them cheap enough I could just JB weld them to the wheels. :D

Phat,

Both. :D There were no naked chicks involved though.

Yeh send me the pics. How many decent trails do you know of out there? I'll find Blacks Creek on my own then, I know what area it's located in I just need to go out there in the light. There are some neat dams out there though. The dates I could find in the concrete were from the early 1920's.

That thread got deleted because FF is a pansy. :D :D
I didn't post anything that was too offensive, just PG13 material. I think it was Hinkley's use of his "colorful" language that put it over the top. :D
I believe a few of us need our own private forum where anything goes, limited access, no whiners.

Jes
Are we in the Garbage Bin yet?

I thought it was Hinkley talking about giving out acholic beverages instead of candy. (or something like that) :D

That is a cool idea. We could call it "Thick Skin". The only requirement should be that you have to be drunk to enter.

Phat, I think I've been up that draw some years back when I was riding bikes more. Can't quite remember how to get there though. Info, need more info. :)

CW,

Find Nampa (by Boise) and go about 30 miles south and it will run into the Snake River. Right in that area.

I posted a reply and wondered if you had read it, I guess not. :)

Phat,

I see at least three usuable lines on a bike and I bet I could hold some pretty good speed through there also. I used to be much more confortable on a bike than I've ever felt with four wheels. Started riding again this year and I'm a little stiff.

I've ridden carnage canyon at least a dozen times (before it was popular to run it in Jeeps) and never slowed down to look. 15 minute trip. :D

If I can get the wife to stop being a baby about the cold I could do some serious scouting. Crap I've even rode out in the Johnson Valley area. The only thing I remember was it was hot, damn hot. Didn't smoke and was much lighter then too. Ahh the good old day's.

BTW, Did you get those measurments or am I going to have to post another lame thread.
