I may or may not be able to make it depending on what type of progress I make on the floors tomorrow, either way I will have to bring the altima . Today was just an unfortunate series of events (needed a couple tools so ran to the store, got home to find my alternator was facked up again, fixed that and got the Jeep in the garage, got the steel ready and in place/ready to weld, found out I was out of gas so had to go pick up some flux core. by which time it was already later in the day, got some food, finished up a couple things and called it a night, aka went out for a couple drinks. Tomorrow will be getting up early and trying to get as much done prior to football.

Though if I do make it I heard there is a beer festival at the RI convention center or somewhere else in RI... Might be worth looking into

I'm still on edge on if I can make it or not. I got to keep the Jeep in the garage for the week (so I dont hve to deal with moving it in and I and I can get right to work this wkend). Long story short I am expected to get alot of work done, if I can get a substantial amount done by Saturday night then I will be there. If I run into as many issues as I did last weekend I might not be there. Hope to see y'all there.

So I just got the news that the scouts have a bottle drive this wkend (brothers are scouts, parents help out).

So since its supposed to be ****ty weather they are doing it at my house I guess, in the garage, which means I get to spent tonight packing my stuff up and moving my Jeep, welder, and all the tools and such out of the garage. They wont be done until mid afternoon on saturday... so looks like I am taking this weekend off from working. Maybe I will be able to make it down after all.

So maybe if the weather improves and it dries out I will ride the motorcycle down. I am just trying to weigh the pros/cons of that.
Pros:
-Get another longish ride in this season
-Just get to ride in general

Cons:
-All you can eat chicken = potential food coma. May not be a pleasant ride home :laugh:
-Can't have more than maybe 1-2 beers tops.

Need to keep debating this. Maybe the weather will suck and solve the problem for me, but apparently its supposed to stop raining by then and be in the 50s-60s.

i'm out.

hood latch broke while i was doing 50 in the subie last night, so thats currently undriveable. i'll be in nyc all day today then once i get home i'll be pulling the steering off the XJ to get the new inserts welded on (in the rain) so i can have something driveable, and idk when my buddy will have some time over the weekend to weld it up... and theres no way i should be driving to RI from NY since i when to spend money on a new hood for the RS.
