subs and system advice please

got my jensen dvd deck from sonicelectronix last week. I like it... the screen looks great, the sound is good, and you can get a gps nav for it for around $200.

The sound is not as good as my old pioneer deck but it is still good. The pioneer was only rated at 10w more per channel but it was a lot more adjustable then any other deck I have tried...

My review is that its been great so far and I like the price too($270 shipped with install kit) I wired the park switch wire to ground so the screen works whenever. If you dont need the best of the best sound and you want to watch/play dvds, use a rear view cam, connect to video ipod, or game source then go for it.
I love it but I will be putting in a pioneer dvd/lcd deck in my bronco but hey its a show bound cruiser that needs to be better then good.

I am currently running a Jensen VM9311TS head unit, clarion 5.5 door speakers all the way around, 2 12" Digital Designs 2500 series Subs in a 6.5 cubic foot ported box being pushed by a DB Drive 1200.1 Platinum series monoblock Amp. Im happy with everything EXCEPT THE JENSEN SCREEN. DO NOT BUY A JENSEN!!! THEY ARE CRAP!!! i have gone through two of those screens in the last year, one of them quit working completely and the one i have currently the buttons on the radio do not work. Also the IPOD control is SO DAMN SLOW AND FREEZES ALL THE TIME!!! the sound quality on them suck also. your better off with a pioneer head unit which i will be switching to soon!

works good for me so far. I connected the parking brake switch safety wire to the ground wire to I can play videos whenever I want wether the break is on or not.

I will say like I already have yes the pioneer has better sound but that was not all I wanted with this so I like the jensen so far. I dont use an ipod control but rather just the aux input so I dont know about the ipod control. I have not had any problems nor have I read any bad reviews like yours but You never know I guess I will be the first one to know if it sucks a fatty :dunno:
