Stupid question

Are the seat Brackets for all cherokees they same? MY OIC just bought a 99 XJ and her drivers side seat is wont slide or do anything. She found one at PnP but because it was a different year she didnt get it. Any help?

I think the splie is the 1996 / 1997 with the body style. I know the new body style is different than my '92...

I put in a set of 97 seats in my 96. But yeah like Opie said, the brackets change at some point, not sure when though.

95 actually. I just swapped in 02 WJ seats with zero mods. 15 minute job.

X2 on the 95 date. I did a lot of research on this topic when I was swapping out seats for my 91. I installed power seats from a 89 limited with the side bolsters and leather. Bit tricky but they worked. And they are sweet.
